Chaga Mushroom
Chaga is a medicinal fungus that grows predominately on birch trees in cold climates. Its healing properties have been known for centuries although still a secret to some.
Chaga is a strong
- anti-inflammatory
- anti-cancer
- anti-oxidant
- anti-bacterial
- anti-viral medicine
Chaga strengthens the immune system while improving cardiovascular and metabolic health. It's great for detoxifying the body and has been scientifically proven to shrink tumour and cancer growths. It's no wonder it's considered the "king mushroom".
Chaga is traditionally drank in a tea but can also be consumed in other forms. It can be used in baking, tinctures, lotions, coffee, kombucha etc
When making tea simply place a chunk or two in a large pot of water on medium/low careful not to boil.
It is best to brew the tea for 3-8 hours to fully extract the nutrients.
You can reuse the chunks a few more times if you place them in the freezer after your initial brew.
Chaga tea can be drank hot or cold.
Each package contains 30 grams of my sustainably foraged dried chaga chunks. Wildcrafted in Ontario, Canada. Ceremonial tobacco is given to the earth in exchange for these medicines.
